In the spring we were told we needed to relocate the sanctuary immediately. Thanks to YOUR support we were able to raise enough funds to pay the down payment on a dream property located in Valdosta, Georgia!!
Wilbur, his friends, and the entire sanctuary have been saved and officially have a new forever paradise to call home in Valdosta, Georgia!We need you though!

Our Story
Alyssa Barry’s young life changed drastically at age 26 in 2018 with a near-fatal heart attack. Alyssa and Kevin had purchased a rundown piece of property in 2017 and rescued a few animals and with lots of hard work they built a farm themselves. From pain and near death came a changed life view and appreciation for the joy farm animals gave them.

Animal care was therapeutic and demanding – from peaceful to challenging and eventually they set up a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue. She and Dinger started accepting more abandoned or abused domestic animals to rehabilitate as Barry’s own rehabilitation continued. Results and animals adapting to the new environment excited friends and locals until occasionally, the public was invited and donations – time and money – helped sustain the growth.

FAQ's
Collier county said we can no longer operate at our current location & we need to move to a larger property. We are fundraising for a 20 acre property that will allow us to continue to be a service to our community.
We are a 501(c3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing a safe haven for abused, neglected, and unloved animals while also offering the community fun and educational opportunities and experiences on the farm with the animals we rescue.
If we do not raise enough money for the property we unfortunately would have to move out of Collier County and relocate further north where property goes for cheaper costs.
$700,000 alone will be use to cover the cost of transporting all of the animals to our new location as well as covering the cost of new buildings, fencing, animal housing, and other needed costs like permitting. The property is a empty 20 acre field and we will need to rebuild everything from scratch.
